Pictures

Come visit my FACEBOOK PAGE as this is where I share most of my artwork. The images below are examples of some of the work I've done, either on my own book covers or otherwise. All stock purchased.

I'll be uploading some images here based on my book(s) for your enjoyment, as well as other fun stuff. The header you see above for this blog, I designed. I am in love with creating images, and have been doing so for years for "fun". Now, it just so happens that I have a chance to incorporate it with the writing.

All stocks used in my books (cover images and inserts) are purchased.

Here is the final cover I designed for "Sterling". It's a bit different than the usual women we see on Urban Fantasy covers, but I liked the mystery behind it. There's a feeling of remorse, power, and wonder. I'm really excited to work on future covers, as I love that I can design my own.  It seems like it would be hard for an author to give that up to a cover artist, and in my cases, they have no say so over it. A cover artist would have to completely share my vision, and know my characters. There are some amazing artists out there, too. I just so happen to dabble enough in photo editing that I have the ability to create the covers.

Unlike "Sterling" where I had one model to use, I found myself in a difficult position with "Twist", because I had several images to choose from. I weeded out the models who did not fit the character, or the pose did not embody the spirit of the book. I consulted with a few friends for their opinions, and narrowed it down to my three favorites. This one kept drawing my attention, and it just felt right. That's all I can explain about it. I think you just know when it's the right one.
This cover took me about a month to do. There are more layers on here than baklava. It was down to two models, and the choice was difficult but I really liked this one. Plus, the other one was already being used on an erotica cover. :-o
Gravity was probably the quickest cover to date of the Mageri Series. I had narrowed it down to two models, but this one just spoke to me and really embodied the raw emotion that this book is about. Everything in the image is symbolic of something in the book.

No introductions needed.

Justus's car. I found this video on youtube and thought I'd share. Justus collects the finer things, and one of them happens to be cars.

Be sure to look me up on Facebook. I alternate my cover image with personal artwork, and offer images to readers to use for their Timeline Covers!
