Some author's can write listening to music, but I find it to be a huge distraction. I do, however, listen to music during my creative thought process, usually during my daily walks. Sometimes, specific songs get replayed when I'm writing certain scenes or a specific book. Some music links me to a character, or helps me to get into that mindset of writing a difficult scene. Music doesn't give me ideas, but it helps me get in the zone. By far, "Blinding" was the biggest inspiration for "Sterling". I'll never be able to hear this song without thinking of the book.
With each book, with each series, my playlist changes. I thought it would be fun to share the music I'm listening to as I write each series.
